Nolan Jones, Ed.D.
Helping organizations develop emotionally intelligent, effective leaders
I believe leadership is a skill that can be developed—not a trait you're born with. For over 20 years, I've designed and facilitated learning experiences that transform how people lead, communicate, and work together.
Currently serving as Program Director for a federal TRIO Upward Bound program, I've spent my career developing people and building organizational capacity in the education and nonprofit sectors.
My approach to facilitation is grounded in research but focused on practice. I don't just teach concepts—I create experiences where participants actively engage with content, practice new skills, and leave with strategies they can apply immediately.
My Background
- Ed.D. in Educational Leadership - Mills College [Now Northeastern University]
- 20+ years designing and facilitating professional development programs
- Program Director with expertise in leadership development, team building, and organizational effectiveness
- Proven facilitator known for high-energy, interactive delivery that keeps participants engaged
My Philosophy
The best learning happens when people are actively involved, not passively listening. That's why my workshops are built around discussion, practice, and real-world application. I meet people where they are and give them tools they can use right away—no theoretical fluff, just practical value.
Beyond the Workshops
When I'm not facilitating, you'll find me writing my book, making music, and spending time with family. I believe in bringing my whole self to my work—and I encourage the leaders I develop to do the same.
